How to use the solver
Type a guess and add it, then tap each tile until it matches your game: grey for letters not in the word, yellow for letters in the wrong spot and green for letters in the right spot. Add each guess you have made and press Find answers.
Repeated letters are handled properly
If you guess a word with two E’s and one turns yellow while the other turns grey, the answer has exactly one E. Many solvers get this wrong and throw away the right answer. This one tracks the minimum and maximum count of every letter.
Choosing your next guess
The best next guesses are the remaining answers whose untested letters appear in the most other remaining answers, so each one rules out as many words as possible. Answers are ranked with everyday words first, because puzzle answers are almost always common words.
This solver works only from the clues you enter. It does not look up or publish daily answers.
